The Purpose of this blog is to write about plot, character, and theme developement while I read the novel, "The Great Gatsby", by F.Scott Fitzgerald. My intent of this blog is to write a summary of each chapter, describe how the characters change throughout the novel and connect the main theme to the real world. Theme

Jay Gatsby can be related to Walter Lee from "A Raisin In The Sun" because both men are chasing the American Dream. Gatsby has money and success but has lost his women's love. Walter Lee is working hard for money and success but has the support and love from his wife Ruth.
