The Purpose of this blog is to write about plot, character, and theme developement while I read the novel, "The Great Gatsby", by F.Scott Fitzgerald. My intent of this blog is to write a summary of each chapter, describe how the characters change throughout the novel and connect the main theme to the real world. Character Development

Tom is becoming suspicious about Gatsby and he is believing the rumours that are going around about him. Tom watches Daisy carefully at the party to make sure she is not alone with Gatsby. It is shown very clearly that Tom does not like Gatsby and that Tom does not want Daisy hanging around Gatsby.
